:(

the killers have pulled the plug on us and on Asia. that makes me sad.
but i will not let this destroy my weekend!!
GARH!

hrmph.
i will take that 150 bucks and go shopppppinggggg!
wooooo.

i have a follow up appointment with Mindef on tuesday, and am one step closer to getting the job! hopefully all works out okay. fingers crossed.

other than that, i have to start putting more effort into school work. week 3 is starting soon (scary thought, that i only have 10 weeks of school life left) and i have yet to have something concrete and substantial for my thesis. this worries me greatly!

so i have been partying and procastinating too much...which leaves me with a lot of work to catch up on! BOO :(

i also need to save money for my grad trip...which will probably cover the entire west coast of A!
so less shopping, partying, spending...and much much more saving!

things are really looking up for me, i had an awesome dinner at a friend's place yesterday, which consisted of a nice steamboat, barbeque on the side, and yummy steamed chicken rice! and nice sweet white wine to finish it off.
lunch today at dempsey (proceeded by a food coma which saw me sleeping off the afternoon for 3 hours)
and a long-overdue visit to my grandma's at night with a family dinner.

nice saturday huh? the 'work' portion is missing. MISSING!! *panic now*
tomorrow....ahhh....will have to find something to fill up the empty space that the killers left behind :(
looking at a movie and then drinks...hopefully things work out. if not, i will have to get my ass down to work! WORK WORK WORK!

i also attempted to call the Singapore Red Cross hotline just now to make a $10 donation to Haitian victims....but they only operate from 8-6 i think? or normal business hours. bah.
i saw the number scrolling past on the screen when i was watching that cheesy celebrity sing-a-long charity fundraising effort on national geographic/mtv.
okay before you call me mean, or bitchy or whatever....i just think that these things are quite fake. and that donations should just come about naturally. and that if these 'celebrities' reallllllllly do wanna help out, they should just consider donating one or two million bucks of their massive fortunes to the people of Haiti and stop wasting time singing and pretending to look sad and taking calls in a pathetic voice. i mean seriously, make it quick, make it fast, and make it effective. stop wasting time, effort and even more money putting up tv fundraisers...when half the people who watch you don't actually donate.

call me a bitch, but hey, i have low tolerance for BS. any form of it.
