worth the read.

in my very, very humble, plebeian opinion, i thought the Straits' Times didn't do this speech justice. or report the story very well.
and that it focused a little bit too much on rebuttals made against the speech instead.
here's a transcript and i think it was necessary that it should have been published anyway or at least quoted in greater detail and in context, for a fairer picture of what really went on...instead of a front page headline that just read "MM rebuts NMP's notion of race equality".

i am saddened by the level of journalism and the journalist profession in some of the papers here.
and the fact that i found out that Readers' Digest is filing for bankruptcy!! :(
it was one of the first few really serious "magazines" i read okay.

and i was hoping to work for them for a bit :(
