where is my good karma?

i was having breakfast with a friend at mc'donalds' today. we were in the midst of a bitching session about someone, and boy, was i going at it at full steam. like seriously,

going.at.it.

it was like verbal purging.

anyway, to cut the long story short, i was nursing a cup of coffee (yes, coffee not beer!) after having eaten a sausage mcmuffin and a hashbrown.

but you know how it is.

when i do things, i will always go for it with utmost zest, zeal and passion! so i was bitching like i was on FIRRREE. this means i was gesticulating wildly, doing the hands in the air kinda thing.

then i knocked an entire cup of coffee over.

onto myself. onto my new threadless t-shirt. it was 5/6 full. i was drenched. i was soaked. coffeee was flowing gloriously... everywhere, down my shirt, my thighs, my calves, on my lap. everywhere. the sweet nectar of morning coffee. wasted.

sitting there in my coffee-drenched embarassment, something occurred to me.

i realised that in this day and age, when everything works at the snap of your fingers, when instant gratification is only at the click of a button, when we've got the internet, facebook and blackberries.... that even karma is instant. it has ears. it is everywhere. and it will hit you instantly.

so the next time you think that you can get away with a little bit of bitching, a little bit of complaining, a little bit of backstabbing...you had better keep your head up and wait for the karma to come bite you in the ass like 5 seconds later. like can somebody say, lightning speed?

because there are too many bad people in the world today who are doing too many bad things in the world simultaneously. karma don't wait for no one, honey.

now, i sit patiently and keep my mouth sewn shut. because i am awaiting the good karma that's about to hit me anytime soon.

yeah, soon.

you just wait.
